Maciej Behnke, Ph.D.

Doctor of Psychology. Senior Researcher at the Adam Mickiewicz University. Recently, he has been exploring innovative ways to utilize existing data and AI technologies to advance research methodologies in affective science. His past work focuses on understanding how positive psychological phenomena—such as appraisal, emotions, and mindsets—can enhance human performance, with a particular interest in the context of esports. Winner of scholarships awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation, winner of the PRELUDIUM 13, ETIUDA 7, and OPUS 20 calls, visiting scholar at Stanford University, University College London, and University of Chieti Pescara. Governing Board Member at the Cognitive Neuroscience Center. Currently also working with the EPiC Collaboration, Emognition Research Group, and Psychosensing Lab. Beyond academia, Maciej is a former athlete and dancer who enjoys traveling and discovering new culinary delights.
